Everything you need to never drop the ball
Later lives where your work already happens. Capture reminders in plain language and let Teams nudge you — or your whole channel — at exactly the right moment.
Natural-language input
Write “every Monday at 8am, post the standup checklist” and Later figures out the what, when and how often — no forms, no fiddly date pickers.
One-off & recurring
Single nudges or repeating schedules — daily, weekly, monthly or custom. Set it once and Later keeps it going.
Channel reminders
Remind a whole team or channel, not just yourself. Perfect for standups, deadlines, reports and recurring rituals.
Personal reminders
Private nudges that only you see, delivered straight to your Teams chat so nothing slips through the cracks.
Email reminders
Upgrade to Pro to also receive your reminders by email, so you stay on track even when Teams is closed.
Snooze & reschedule
Not now? Snooze with a tap or reschedule in plain language. Later adapts to how your day actually unfolds.
Time-zone aware
Reminders fire at the right local time for every member, so distributed teams stay perfectly in sync.
Stay organised
See every upcoming and recurring reminder in one place. Edit, pause or delete them whenever plans change.
Native Teams integration
Built for Microsoft Teams from the ground up. Install once and every member of the channel can start setting reminders.
From prompt to reminder in seconds
No setup, no training. Just tell Later what you need in your own words and it does the rest.
Type it like you'd say it
“Remind the marketing channel to send the newsletter every Friday at 3pm.”
Later understands it
It reads the time, the date and the repeat pattern — and confirms before scheduling.
Get nudged in Teams
At the right moment, Later pings you or your channel — on time, every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most frequently asked questions below.
- How does the licensing work?
A license is required for each person who creates reminders with Later beyond the free tier. Volume discounts apply automatically as you add more seats. A licensed user can create an unlimited number of personal and channel reminders. Team members who only receive reminders (for example everyone in a channel) never need their own license.
After purchasing one or more user licenses, you will receive one license key which can be activated by the number of users you purchased. Please pass the license key on to the users who should be licensed. The person who buys the license does not have to use it personally. - What's the difference between the free and paid plan?
The free plan lets you create up to 5 reminders (single or repeating) and up to 2 Teams channel reminders, with natural-language input — free forever. It does not include email reminders. Pro unlocks unlimited personal and channel reminders, recurring schedules and email reminders.
- What can the free tier do?
The free tier includes 5 reminders (single or repeating), 2 reminders in a Teams channel, and natural-language input. Email reminders are available on Pro only. You can upgrade at any time to remove the limits.
- Can I create recurring reminders?
Yes. Just describe the cadence in plain language — for example “every Monday at 9am” or “on the 1st of each month” — and Later sets up the repeating schedule for you.
- How many licenses do I need?
You need one license per person who creates reminders beyond the free tier. Example: if 3 people set up reminders for a team of 20, you only need 3 licenses — everyone else simply receives the channel reminders. You get a significant volume discount when you buy several seats at once (up to 10 users = Team, up to 50 = Organization).
- Do channel members need their own license?
No. When you add Later to a channel in Microsoft Teams, every member of the channel can receive reminders automatically — no extra installation or license required.
- How do I install Later in Microsoft Teams?
Please take a look at our linked instructions page.
- How do I activate my license?
Please take a look at our linked instructions page.
- How to terminate my subscription?
Please find instructions here about the different alternatives to terminate your subscription easily.
- Can a license be transferred to another person, e.g. if a licensed user leaves the company?
Yes, each user license can be transferred to another person, max. two times per year. Please open the Later app in Microsoft Teams, go to the top right corner menu and press 'License Manager' (your license key has to be activated to see this option).
If you have purchased multiple user licenses: The user account who purchased the license ('License Manager') and the user account who activated the license first ('Secondary License Manager') can assign and revoke user licenses centrally from within Microsoft Teams. In some environments where Microsoft single-sign-on requires admin approval, you can alternatively forward your license key to the new user for manual activation.
If you have a single user license: Please press the 'Remove License' button in the license manager to free your user license. Afterwards, the new user can activate the same license key again. - Is the app available in other languages than English?
Later is currently available in English only.
- How does tax exemption work?
Sales tax is applied to orders according to the buyer's country and state, using the constantly updated tax logic of our reseller Paddle. If you have a valid sales tax ID, this can be entered by you when using the online checkout. The amount of tax is then revised accordingly.
If you have a US sales tax exemption certificate, there are two options:
1) Prior to purchase: Send the tax exemption notice to assist@paddle.com, they can mark your e-mail as tax exempt. This process might take a few business days. Afterwards, you can use the online checkout with revised tax.
2) After purchase: If you need the license immediately, you can just check out, send the tax exemption certificate afterwards and our reseller Paddle will refund the tax within 1 week and issue an updated invoice receipt.
Your US tax exemption documentation should be dated within one year prior to purchase and include the tax identification number. Please add Paddle's information in the area designated for seller/vendor:
Paddle.com Inc.; 3811 Ditmars Blvd., #1071; Astoria, NY 11105. - I cannot find my invoice.
The receipt is sent automatically through our reseller paddle.net immediately after your purchase. It is sent from the e-mail address help@paddle.com to your stated address, where you received the license key. Please also check your private and business e-mail accounts. A PDF receipt is attached to the e-mail. If you cannot find the e-mail anymore, you can also download your invoice in the Paddle customer portal. For invoice-related topics, please contact help@paddle.com directly.
If you purchased through Microsoft, your invoice is provided 3 days after purchase in the Microsoft admin center.
